Wie we zijn - Selfcare

Selfcare was founded by a passionate team of health-conscious technology experts with the simple idea that staying healthy doesn’t have to be complicated. We saw a world of disconnected medical records and underutilised technologies for tracking health easily from home.

Driven by our belief that well-organised data is the key to optimal health, we created a central place where you can manage and explore your own data.

An idea was born!

In 2015, our founders, Jeroen and Tom, realised that sensors and wireless technology had advanced to the point where they could deliver great experiences in vitality and health. They embarked on a (literal) journey to create a platform that would change how we promote health. Tom and Jeroen are supported on the medical side by a scientific advisory board, consisting of doctors from various backgrounds.

Selfcare’s Mission

Selfcare aims to bring healthcare and wellness closer to the individual, empowering us to take more responsibility for our health and care in the way we choose. This gives us greater control and reduces our dependence on our surroundings for healthcare and wellbeing. As a result, we can live healthier and more vibrant lives for longer!
