Helaas moeten wij je informeren dat Selfcare door een gebrek aan voldoende financiering genoodzaakt is haar activiteiten te staken. Dit zal gebeuren per 20 september 2026.
Tot die datum heb je de mogelijkheid om je eigen data te downloaden. Een instructie hiervoor vind je hier.
Na 20 september 2026 beëindigen wij alle verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens en zullen wij je data op een veilige manier, conform onze geldende beveiligingsnormen (ISO 27001 / NEN 7510), verwijderen. Dit betekent dat je eigen data vanaf die datum niet meer toegankelijk is voor jou, en ook niet meer toegankelijk gemaakt kan worden. Wij raden je daarom met klem aan om je data vóór 20 september 2026 veilig te stellen.
Let op: dit betreft uitsluitend de data die je bij Selfcare hebt opgeslagen. De data die bij de leverancier van jouw wearable en bij jouw zorgverlener is opgeslagen, is hierbij niet betrokken en blijft behouden bij die partij. Wil je toegang krijgen tot jouw gezondheidsdata via een ander PGO, maak dan hier jouw keuze.
Meer informatie over hoe wij met jouw persoonsgegevens omgaan, vind je in ons privacybeleid. Ben je het niet eens met de wijze waarop wij jouw gegevens verwerken of verwijderen? Dan heb je het recht om een klacht in te dienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Wij realiseren ons dat dit bericht in een vakantieperiode valt en dat je hierdoor mogelijk weinig tijd hebt om je data veilig te stellen. De omstandigheden laten ons helaas geen andere keuze dan je nu al te informeren, zodat je zoveel mogelijk tijd hebt om actie te ondernemen.

We regret to inform you that, due to a lack of sufficient funding, Selfcare is forced to discontinue its services. This will take effect on September 20, 2026.
Until that date, you have the opportunity to download your own data. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
After September 20, 2026, we will stop all processing of your personal data and will securely delete your data in accordance with our applicable security standards (ISO 27001 / NEN 7510). This means that your personal data will no longer be accessible to you from that date onwards, and cannot be made accessible again. We therefore strongly recommend that you secure your data before September 20, 2026.
Please note: this only concerns the data stored with Selfcare. The data stored with your wearable’s provider and healthcare provider is not affected and will remain intact there. If you want to access your health data via another PGO, make your choice here.
